Consumer Complaint: I am giving Professional Debt Mediation an opportunity to remedy its complicity in assisting XXXX XXXX XXXX to violate both Federal Law and Florida Statues in an effort to sabotage my credit file on behalf of the local authorities in retaliation for my efforts to address the Federally institutionalized denial of Due Process for groups protected under Federal Fair Housing Laws. As specified in Florida Statute 83.49 ( 3 ) ( a ) ( www.leg.state.fl.us ) : ” Upon the vacating of the premises for termination of the lease, if the landlord does not intend to impose a claim on the security deposit, the landlord shall have 15 days to return the security deposit together with interest if otherwise required, or the landlord shall have 30 days to give the tenant written notice by certified mail to the tenants last known mailing address of his or her intention to impose a claim on the deposit and the reason for imposing the claim … .If the landlord fails to give the required notice within th e 30-day period, he or she forfeits the right to impose a claim upon the security deposit and may not seek a setoff against the deposit but may file an actio n for damages after return of the deposit. ” As indicated in the attached official Confirmation of my address change from the United Postal Service, my mail was forwarded from the address specified in the fraudulent itemized bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX as of X/XX/2016 . Moreover, I was signed up for automated notification of any mail sent to me that might include tracking information, as is the case with Certified Mail, until after I moved to my new apartment in XXXX o f 2016. H ence, if the creditor had indeed fulfilled its obligations under Fl orida Statutes to sen d notification to my last known address of its intent to impose a claim on my deposit via Certified Mail, I would have either received the notice at the residence specified in my change of address Confirmation ( my grandmothers ) or I would have have been notified about it by the USPS via text and email.
