Consumer Complaint: I took out a payday loan a couple years ago. I fell behind or changed banks and missed a payment. Last year, I was contacted by letter or call to pay off {$210.00} to close the case. I paid that debt and even received a letter from North Cash in XXXX XXXX to say they received my payment and case is closed. Now a year later, i have been getting emails starting on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX to settle the account. I have emailed to say account is swttled since last year and even gave date and check number … Last thursday XXXX XXXX , I spoke with someone after getting voicemail about debt.. The guy said he was referring the case to supervisor and wanted me to fax over the letter. I said no as it should be in the file since it was their letterhead. I told him that they were harassing me for debt which was paid and if they contacted me again, I will file a formal complaint as I no longer owe the debt for a bout one year.
