Consumer Complaint: This company has been calling my family and all over and leaves a message that states verbatim ” Hello this is XXXX , this message is regarding our location and tracing efforts for XXXX XXXX . Press zero now to speak with a representative or call XXXX . It is important that we speak with you in regards to your whereabout. If we can not verify this information through you, the law allows us to contact all references on file. If you are unable to provide any information please contact us regardless at XXXX . Thank you. I told my family to have this company call me directly so they gave them my number. I called them back and ended up speaking to a very rude person that 1. ) would not allow me to get a word in edgewise 2. ) would not allow me to ask questions regarding this supposed debt and 3. ) h ung up on me and said the she was going to because I was refusing to let her speak and not allowing her to collect a debt. I was trying to ask her about this supposed debt and the more questions I asked to get her to provide details and confirmation, she just got more XXXX XXXX and said she was going to tune me for not complying and refusing to pay. She hung up. I called back and got another gentleman on the phone. He was more pleasant to deal with and I was able to ask the questions that I tried to earlier with the previous representative. She did n’t even want to tell me anything about the company when I asked who they were. This new representative was telling me that they are trying to collect a debt fr om XX/XX/XXXX that was written office and sent to collections in XX/XX/XXXX . I explained that I was not aware of such debt and that I needed him to send me the details of the debt and proof that I actually signed an agreement for this debt. I gave them my current mailing address and email address and he said that he would send it within the hour. I received nothing. So, I called this company yesterday XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to another gentleman that verified my email and said that he too would send it over within the hour. I asked that man to also please have them stop calling me until they send me proof and verification that I truly owe this debt. He told me that they do n’t have to. They can call me from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX all day and everyday until I pay this debt. Nothing. So today I receive an email with a .pdf letter attached that states that I owe a debt for XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$300.00} that is due on XX/XX/XXXX . It does n’t give me any proof or details of what I asked them for or verification that I actually created this debt. I will pay if there was something I truly owe. I have great credit and make ALL my payments faithfully and on time.
