The World Law Group all the other World Law players were sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Court appointed receiver has recently sent a notice to consumers about potential refunds coming.
The notice makes reference to this link on the CFPB website for refund distribution information. There is no information listed there yet.
According to court documents the Receiver has turned over $8 million to the CFPB for distribution but because of the massive amount of money owed in refunds it appears the average refund will only be about 7.5% of the claim made. – Source
As usual, while bad actors are stopped there is often little to no money recovered to give consumers full refunds.
