Consumer Complaint: The original debt from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was {$5000.00} and I had paid it down to {$4300.00} by XX/XX/XXXX it was {$3800.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I was served court papers at XXXX XXXX ., from The Best Service Company. I called them to find out why were they doing this and XXXX XXXX stated that I told him not to call my job any more so he is suing me! I tried to explain that by him yelling at me and threatening me is not allowed. He then stated that if I wanted to stop the court proceedings I would have to pay the clerk of the court fees of {$220.00} the first payment and then the second payment on XX/XX/XXXX . In XX/XX/XXXX I was placed on disability and was not receiving my full pay so I called the companies I owed the situation. I could not contact The Best Service Company because I did not have a phone number nor an address. I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX from the Best Service Company stating I have missed three payments of {$120.00} a month and I need to cure this default of {$370.00} in 10 days. I borrowed the money and I have been current. I called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to ask if I could pay half of my debt which at that time was {$3400.00} with XXXX payment. XXXX said when you get the money to call him back. On XX/XX/XXXX I called him back but he did not answer the call. I left a msg that I have borrowed {$1400.00}. I called again the same day and he answered and right away he was rude and would not take the money I offered, but he said I was late with my payment. So I paid {$120.00} and hung up the phone! Yesterday I received an alert from XXXX regarding my credit score! I signed on a it was the Best Service Company it had said I was seriously delinquent on XX/XX/XXXX ! I called XXXX XXXX and I was hysterical and crying trying to explain that I have been trying to fix my credit score and you stated I was seriously delinquent. He yelled at me ” you do not tell me what I can do and matter you are being rude to me and when you learn how to talk to me you can call me back. So I told hi I am not being rude but how does he think this is fair! He stated that as of right now the amount you owe is {$3800.00} you were late this month with your payment and if you are late again it will go up again! I will never be able to pay this off if he continues to do this, please help me!
