Consumer Complaint: This is the second complaint with CFPB an d Caine and Weiner. My first complaint was XXXX . Caine and Weiner respond ed with a response that the debt is verified. The company ‘s determination of verifying a debt is to send a copy of a bill. That is not verification. I requested in writing twice, certified mail, read receipt, to verify AND validate this debt is mine. It is not! I have This right under Secti on 609! I have the right to request and receive ” the name of the person under which such person conducts business and the address and telephone number of that person ”. I request proof the debt is mine. This proof/verification/validation will not surface because it does not exist. A copy of a bill does not suffice, nor fulfill my request. If Caine and Weiner can not provide this, I want this account removed from my credit report immediately.
