Consumer Complaint: In 2010 I had a bank account that was closed out due to INSF funds, under the amount of {$500.00}. This account was charged off and sold to a collections company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. A woman by the name of XXXX XXXX using the phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX when she contact my workplace multiple times as well as a relative who she told several details of the account to. She told me that I have less than a week to come up with a balance higher than the money owed to the bank, or I would be served and prosecuted for felony bank fraud and have my workplace contacted and my wages garnished. She stated that she represented US Bank as the client who was suing me, but failed on multiple requests to provide me with proof of debt or her own identity.
