Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I called Navient after they constantly called my mom. I told them I was homeless at the time, and I could n’t afford to pay for anything. The guy was very pushy and insisted I make a payment. ‘I ‘m sure your parents would let you move in, right? ‘ I replied, ‘No, that is n’t an option. ‘ He just kept persisting, gave me absolutely no options to delaying payments and making suggestions on what to spend my money on. My only income was and still is XXXX. I got sick of it, and he said he ‘d call me back the next morning wanting my debit card information. I never returned the call. While I eventually found a home, my mail was still sent to my mom ‘s address.

Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX payment was $ XXXX less than before. After getting the runaround from my debit card company, I called the Dept. of Education to find out what was going on. My XXXX checks were being garnished because my student loans defaulted. I NEVER received any mail or correspondence from Navient for that matter. I knew I had to do something, or else I would be on the streets again. I was garnished fromXX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX.

I knew about the total XXXX discharge, and I am XXXX, which I told Navient many times over the years. Navient does n’t like anyone asking, mentioning nor suggesting it as a debt relief option about the XXXX either. They were rude when I asked for more information. I printed off the forms in XX/XX/XXXX, and in XX/XX/XXXX, my application was approved. Navient owed me for payments made during the approval process. They were very slow to return my money, but I got it eventually.

If there ‘s a class action lawsuit, count me in.
