Consumer Complaint: I do not have a contract with MDS. I am not liable for the collection of this debt nor am I responsible. I have never done business with this company. In fact, I have never heard of this company until receiving a copy of my credit report. MDS has failed to provide me with legal supporting documents. I requested the signed contract between me and this company and they neglected to provide it. Instead they sent me ” ER Admission papers ”. I requested an original itemized bill and they neglected to provide it. Instead they sent me a statement with a balance for ” ER services ”. I requested a HIPAA release form signed by me allowing MDS to access my medical files they have neglected to provide that form all together. Not only are my HIPAA rights being violated by this company but so are my consumer rights. I attempted to disput this invalid debt via the bbb but to no avail. They continue to ignore my requests. It is my contention that MDS KNOWS they can not tie me to this account otherwise they would have done so when I made my initial request. MDS is BLANTLY disregarding the law.
