Consumer Complaint: Supposedly this is for a XXXX XXXX card debt of {$50.00} from five years ago.
# on my caller id was : XXXX Person I spoke with IDd himself as : XXXX XXXX The address he gave to his office is ( written dispute ) : XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , VA XXXX He refused a verbal cease. He also demanded the reason why I disputed the balance other than I dispute. I told him I disputed the balance and to send validation. He denied to do so stating I need to make a written request to the above address.
He denied a cease request by phone and told me I had to do so by written request to another address. I refused to take it explaining I do not have to make a written request for their company to cease calling me. He kept stating that he was only trying to help me and asked me to take down a different address to cease. I declined, and told him I know my rights and I do not have to make a written request to your company to cease, and any further attempts to contact me will be harassment and a minimum 1k fine. I ended the call.
I asked him on numerous times if the call was recorded, and he stated it was. ( doubtful in my opinion ).
