Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017 I drove a friend to a XXXX for an initial appointment. The XXXX is XXXX XXXX. The office manager, XXXX XXXX, tried to be all friendly, like a used car salesman. Said my friend needed all sorts of XXXX work but her credit was bad. Then asked if I would cosign for her. I finally said OK. He took my information. He wanted me to cosign for her, then had me sign some simple form saying I would pay ( enclosed ). On XXXX XXXX, 2017 I had convinced my friend they were just scammers. We faxed an initial cancellation to them, which they received. A few days later, a credit card appeared in the mail with a charge of {$11000.00} on it. I called CareCredit and told them I never asked for or filled out any form requesting a credit card. The office manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX XXXX, did all this without my knowledge or approval. I never saw any credit form. I have sent the bank, which is Synchrony Bank multiple copies of faxed notes to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). XXXX has never replied nor tried to cancel the credit or return the bank ‘s money. I consider this as Fraud, not a billing problem. I am contacting CFPB with the initial complaint against XXXX. They have taken advantage of senior citizens by scamming them into paying for things never received or done. No services were ever done for me. I just drove my friend there and was pressured into signing as a cosigner. But the entire thing was cancelled on XXXX XXXX, 2017 and XXXX provided nothing except the initial office visit. XXXX has never tried to collect from my friend, but they have charged XXXX as much as possible without providing anything.
