Consumer Complaint: Rash Curtis and Associates improperly reported a debt on my credit report to XXXX. I have never sent me an itemized bill for the debt they are claiming I owe XXXX XXXX, who is a former landlord of mine. In their correspondence they also never sent me information about what to do in order to dispute this debt. When I called on XXXX XXXX XXXX I requested an itemized bill and the contact information of the original debt holder, XXXX XXXX. They said they could not provide either. I insisted and they said it may take up to 2 months to get the itemized bill but that they most likely no longer have it. They said they were not authorized to give me XXXX XXXX ‘ contact information. Since there is not a record to verify the debt or amount and no way to contact the original debt holder it is improper that they reported this to a credit bureau. I wish to have the debt removed from my credit report immediately.
