Consumer Complaint: I had contacted this debt collector 6 months ago, they have a client of the State of Maryland Comptroller that is saying that I had a debt or a return filed back in 2012 with the state of Maryland. I told them that I did not ever live in Maryland and was a victim of fraud. They told me to contact another number and I did all the steps and filed a police report. Everything was suppose to be taken care, but I just received another bill from them and so I called their number and the gal was very rude and kurt with me like this was my bill. I told her that I dealt with this over 6 months ago and did everything with the state like they wanted and it was not my bill and I was a victim of Identity theft. She basically stated that she could not do anything about it and I would have to call the state of maryland and go through all the hoops again and that she couldnt do anything. I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF FRAUD AND WANT THIS TAKEN CARE, but no one seems to hear what I am saying. I Have NEVER lived in maryland or worked in maryland
