Consumer Complaint: [ AFNI, INC SCAM ] AFNI, INC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This account was opened in XXXX Michigan XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account was paid IN FULL on XX/XX/2014 and XXXX was paid Directly to XXXX desk agent at the XXXX store in XXXX XXXX Michigan. I have my credit card monthly statement to prove it. This debt was a past bill that was unpaid but had to be paid in order for me to start a new service at my new address at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Michigan. The debt collection companies ” buy already paid debts ” and past it around from collection company to collection company to attempt to rod people of money. Both XXXX and XXXX have investigated and removed this same item from their credit reports after I disputed them. So now the collection company is trying the last credit reporting agency XXXX to steal money from consumers. Not only that ; XXXX ending up sending me a check because they owed me money for over payments. XXXX XXXX
