Consumer Complaint: I recently viewed my credit reports and the company Portfolio Recovery has been reporting and also trying to collect funds on a old account where XXXX XXXX is the original creditor. The first amount is for {$4400.00} and the second amount is for {$810.00} Portfolio Recovery Associates is not licensed to collect in Florida according to the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. So therefore any collection efforts should cease and any collections reported on any of my credit reports should be removed.
