Consumer Complaint: Several times we were contacted by number ( XXXX ) XXXX and finally on XXXX XXXX 2017 my wife answered. They disclosed information about a debt owed. She informed them that payment arrangements were already made. I then contacted the collection agency also informed them that the call was being recorded from my end as well. XXXX took the call and insisted that I owed a debt. I informed her that payment arrangements were already made ; she stated that we had missed a payment and for me to prove that a payment was made. She stated that we owed {$2700.00} and asked how I would like to pay for it. We do not owe {$2700.00} ; we owe only {$2600.00}. I have never received a written notice from this company ; additionally XXXX failed to inform me that I had a right to dispute the debt, furthermore she indicated that they just received the account on XXXX XXXX 2017. On my credit report the name of a collection agency is XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XXXX informed me that her companies name was XXXX XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX MN XXXX. Even though we have payment arrangements made with XXXX this company still insists that we owe the money to them.
