Consumer Complaint: I am having a serious problem with Citibank Universal Card. I had settled my debt with them through XXXX XXXX XXXX 5 years ago. They brought a civil case against me about it. I sent them proof that XXXX XXXX XXXX paid them but the case has not been dropped. So either they have my money or XXXX XXXX XXXX kept my money and lied to me. Either way I thought this was resolved 5 years ago and should not be brought to court over it. I have not worked in 15 years, have multiple medical problems, and am supported financially by my family so this is ridiculous and unfair. Citibank stated that they did not know of the settlement but is suppose to be looking into it now. I plan to review them anywhere possible due to this horrible treatment.
