Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote this company a letter requesting for debt validation document to be sent to me. I sent the letter L J ROSS ASSOCXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MI XXXX as this is the address shown on my credit report. Per USPS TRACKING NUMBER XXXX, It has been Delivered last XX/XX/XXXX, and left with an individual ( as shown in the attached document ). Instead of sending me validation documents, this company sent me a collection letter asking me to pay them. This definitely is a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA.

This account should have never gone to collections in the first place. The original Creditor XXXX XXXX Never sent me any statement. I am not enrolled in e-billing but I never receive any statement. I have a lease contract for six months ( XXXX to XXXX XXXX ) at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX where the bills should be sent. I did n’t get any. I moved to XXXX last XXXX XXXX and all my mail are being forwarded to my XXXX address and still nothing from XXXX XXXX. Even though it is their fault, I still paid {$140.00}.

This account must be removed immediately due to the following facts : 1. This account should not have been passed to collections in the first place.
2. This company violated FCRA and FDCPA for not sending me validation documents within the required timeframe.
XXXX. They are COLLECTING PAYMENT for an amount that we already paid. And again there should not be any amount, account in collections since it is the original creditor ‘s short coming.
4. How can this company send me a collection letter to my current address when XXXX XXXX was not able to send me anything, and this LJ ROSS account original is from XXXX XXXX?
