Issue: False statements or representation

Consumer Consent Provided to Share Complaint: Consent provided

Consumer Complaint: Navient is reporting one private student loan to the three credit bureaus as a ” charge off ” with a balance and an amount past due when it can not report this way. Furthermore, they have attempted to have three different collection agencies collect from me even after repeated written requests to Navient and each agency ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) for debt validation. None of the companies have provided debt validation or accurate reporting of supposed debt and yet Navient continues to attempt collection and report the debt. I am requesting a full deletion of this account from all three credit bureaus for the aforementioned reasons. I am requesting that they cease any and all communications or attempts at collecting a debt that has not been properly validated or reported.
Furthermore, there are two other private student loans that they report as joint with XXXX XXXX. They are reporting these inaccurately and have also failed to provide debt validation or accurate reporting of supposed debt. I am requesting that they cease any and all communications or attempts at collecting these debts that have not been properly validated or reported. I am requesting a full deletion of both of these accounts from all three credit bureaus for the aforementioned reasons.
