Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016 Midwest Recovery Systems reported a collection on my credit report. According to my credit report, this alleged debt is for {$66.00} and the original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

I have only been to one physical therapist in my life, and I spoke with them about this matter after I found this report. They told me that they knew nothing about this, and that they had not submitted any debt to any collection agency. They further told me that ALL of my treatments were paid in full by my insurances since I have both medicare and medicaid.

I do not, nor have I ever had an outstanding bill with this or any other physical therapy company. If the bill were owed, I would have paid it, but I will not be paying a fraudulent bill.

Furthermore, I was not informed of this bill before it showed up on my credit report. I was not contacted by telephone or by mail with any bill by either party. I was not given any opportunity to resolve the issue before it showed up on my credit report.

Additionally, I believe that Midwest Recovery Systems has since sold this debt to a second debt collector, adding a second collection for the same fraudulent debt to my credit report. I will be filing a second complaint against the second debt collector.

I have done some research and found that this company has done the same thing or similar to many other people. It needs to stop. I want this fraudulent debt removed from my credit report immediately. I have worked too hard to increase my credit score only to have false statements from these people wrongfully lower my credit score.
