Consumer Complaint: It is absolutely ridiculous that I am being harassed by this company. I was called on XX/XX/XXXX and would not even be given any information about why I was getting this call. The only thing they would tell me was that I was put down as a number for my mother. When I took down the contact information of who had called and told my mother, she informed me that it was a collection call, that I had, in fact, been put down as a character reference and not someone to contact, and that they were not allowed to be contacting for such a matter. My mother then filed a complaint due to the contact that this company had with me. I just got another call again today ( XX/XX/XXXX – less than three weeks later!! ) from this company, and when I told the woman that I was not to be called, I was treated quite curtly and frankly, rudely. I do not understand why this company thinks that they can harass family members MULTIPLE times, particularly when the law prohibits this. Saying ” this is not a collection harassment call ” does not make it something other than exactly that. This company needs to be held responsible for its actions and treat its customers and family members with more respect than it currently does. I am thoroughly angry with the encounters I have had with this collection agency.
