Consumer Complaint: I am writing to complain about three financial institutions that conspiring to remove money from our checking account. These companies are XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, JP Morgan Chase, and XXXX XXXX.
In XXXX of XXXX, we agreed to a debt reconsolidation for a credit card from Chase Bank. The card was in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX. We agreed to pay {$400.00} a month to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay off the balance on the card. We later found out that XXXX XXXX was an intermediary of some sort because their company appears on the endorsement side of the check. This transaction was completed for the months of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Unfortunately, XXXX XXXX, who was earning the majority of the money in our household, was forced to resign her position as a XXXX XXXX. She started working again in XXXX. I called XXXX in early XXXX, asking them to stop the payments of the checks temporarily. We both agreed that once we were financially stable enough, we would resume payments. While there were other agents involved with these actions, the individual from XXXX who is in charge of the account is XXXX XXXX.
On XXXX XXXX XXXX, we received notice of an overdraft from our checking account for {$400.00}. We discovered that XXXX began to make withdrawals from our account again. We never gave them permission to resume this action. As a result, our account over-drafted twice and we paid {$68.00} in overdraft fees.
We have since written a letter to XXXX, XXXX formerly requesting them to cease withdrawing money from our account. I sent this letter directly to their email account and as a certified letter. We have also placed a XXXXtop Payment on all checks from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX.
We consider XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to be primarily responsible for this issue. We are naming JP Morgan Chase because they advised us to use XXXX. We also name XXXX XXXX because their name appears on the endorsement side of the check and we were not aware they were involved in any of the transactions.
