Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute a billing error in the amount of {$1500.00} on an XXXX XXXX XXXX statement sent from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The amount is inaccurate because when the service was disconnected, I sent a check for over {$500.00} that was returned, which was the total amount due. The service was off, and from my understand there was only the amount for the next month owed that was not {$1500.00}. Im not sure why the account kept being charged after it was not on. I paid the check through a collection agency, and this amount was never credited to the account. I was sent a bill, not an itemized statement explaining the charges. This account has been disputed before, but for some reason this company added it back on my credit report.
Enclosed is a copy of the bill that was sent to me from Afni. I do not owe this amount. Please investigate this matter.
