Consumer Complaint: I received a voicemail on XX/XX/XXXX. When I called the number back a gentleman who was very helpful answered, explained it was a medical debt and that they sent a statement on XX/XX/XXXX. I said once I received it I would verify it against my payments. I received another call today from a lady ( who insisted I called her, I believe it was a robo-call the call came in at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ). When I first answered the call it stating to stay on hold for a rep so I did. She picked up and just asked for my name and phone number. I did give her a first name and phone number. I asked what this was regarding and she said without your information I ca n’t tell you. I asked her to understand how receiving a call and then being asked for your information may seem weird. At this point she did have my phone number and first name she could have at least stated it was a debt. Instead of working with me she just hung up. In order to determine what it was for and refer it to the first message I had to google search the number. Now it is XX/XX/XXXX, about half way through ( if not more depending on when they started the action ) for my 30 day appeal or pay and I still have not received a statement to either prove payment or make the payment.
