Consumer Complaint: My wife and I are in the process of getting a home loan. The loan is in the final stages of being processed and then we just received notice that XXXX XXXX hit my report with 2 new collections. The account numbers are XXXX for {$60.00} and XXXX for {$1800.00}. We have several issues with this. # 1 is both of these collections were already disputes and deleted from all XXXX bureaus from XXXX XXXX XXXX recently. XXXX reported 2 collections, account numbers XXXX for {$18000.00} & XXXX for {$60.00}. The bureaus deleted these accounts within 30 days. Now a few months later XXXX some how gets a hold of this and reports it. I am assuming XXXX sold it to XXXX without telling them this was already removed from my report. # 2 problem is XXXX XXXX never sent us a 30 day ” notice ” letter letter giving me a chance to contact them and let them know this was already removed from all XXXX bureaus just recently.
Because we were not notified and this was posted on the report, we are now in jeopardy of not being able to close on the home loan. We are deeply upset and frustrated this has happened and would like you to PLEASE investigate this and remove it from our reports as we feel that XXXX illegally reported it and then once removed sold it to XXXX who never even notified us of the collection.
