Product: Other debt

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed

Consumer Consent Provided to Share Complaint: Consent provided

Consumer Complaint: I had an overdue account with XXXX. The debt was sold to a company named EOS CCA who sent me paper mail and the debt was paid. The debt was {$500.00}. The debt was paid in full although I do remember thinking their form of payment was a bit odd as it was basically a cash transaction. On XXXX/XXXX/2017 I received an email from XXXX informing me there was a change in my credit report and as of logging in and looking at it I found it was a very significant drop due to EOS CCA reporting me for collections. I was never contacted by the company in any form. I did research and found that I was one of very many people scammed by this company and it ‘s fraudulent acts of business.

Company: EOS Holdings, Inc.
