Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, my wife and I discovered that Express Recovery Services , Inc. in XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT was reporting negative credit information to our credit files with the XXXX XXXX credit bureaus.
We sent a letter of dispute in XXXX XXXX and asked Express Recovery to validate the alleged debts. We received letters for Express Recovery date XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that stated ” Based upon the review of your dispute it has been determined that you dispute is frivolous or irrelevant based on the information listed below.
NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION NO ACCOUNT NUMBER. ” We find it difficult to believe their response given that Express Recovery, has our social security numbers, our names and mailing address but do not have enough information to honor our request for debt validation?!
A certified dispute and validation letter with returned receipt requested was sent by us to Express Recovery XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.
We have not received the required 30 notice to dispute letter Express Recovery is required by the FDCPA to provide, we have had our request to validate the debt ignored and negative credit information continues to be reported to our credit files.
