Consumer Complaint: I received a phone call at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX regarding an outstanding balance of {$5300.00} under my last name, social security number, and date of birth. The debt was missed payments by XXXX XXXX, the tenant, for an apartment at XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. I informed the representative that I did not co-sign for the apartment and have never resided at that location, or in the XXXX area. They asked me to file a police report for Identity Theft, which I did on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX with the XXXX XXXX PD, Case # : XXXX, to start an investigation and sent a copy of the report to Hunter Warfield ‘s email along with a copy of two forms of identification and additional documentation. I also filed a report with the FTC on the Identitytheft.gov website. I had not heard back from Hunter Warfield through email or telephone, and never got an answer when I tried calling or left a message. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a Credit Report Update through XXXX that XXXX XXXX had flagged my account as UNPAID for {$5400.00} on XX/XX/XXXX.
