Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a private loan from XXXX XXXX for {$30000.00}. I graduated from XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. Since then, I have been paying at least {$280.00} a month as a repayment. I began XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, but was unable to receive a deferment on the private loan payment despite not being able to work. At the same time, I was able to receive deferments for the extensive federal loans. Despite this fact, I paid my monthly payment of {$280.00} a month every month since the summer of XX/XX/XXXX. I graduated from XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. During this time, my loan has been transferred by XXXX to American Education Services, and they have increased my loan payment to {$300.00} a month. I have been unemployed since XX/XX/XXXX, but I ‘ve been able to pay my monthly payment every month. However, the payment is crippling. The outstanding balance on the loan is over {$35000.00}. I need immediate help with paying this loan.
