Consumer Complaint: Navient keeps ignoring my allocation instructions, as I am paying ahead on my loans. I write the instructions on a separate piece of paper when I send it in, and also call them before I mail the check with the instructions to put into the computer. They always say they are sorry and it wo n’t happen again, yet each month I have to call back after I go online and see my payment has been allocated incorrectly. Dealing with them is 15-25 minutes of frustration each month.
