Consumer Complaint Submission

Date Received: 2018-01-08

Product: Other debt

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed

Consumer Consent Provided to Share Complaint: Consent provided

Consumer Complaint: Debt is not mine ; XXXX misunderstood my previous submission and is treating the situation unfairly.

If you would review my previous statement : This debt is not mine ; I had a lawyer involved with this years ago and the company agreed that I was not liable for this and it never went on my record until just recently. I was living with three other people who broke a lease ; not myself – and thus I was implicated in all of this. This needs to be removed immediately.

XXXX needs to contact the ORIGINAL company as I stated in the above referenced case ; I never stated I attempted to contact NCAC ; Instead I stated the company ( XXXX ) stated these details. No idea why XXXX would ‘ve ever even purchased this account. We dealt with the original management agency of XXXX ; The account in question ; had multiple phone calls with the manager of that office and was told I would not be liable for this debt.

XXXX needs to provide research into this matter, They need to contact the MANAGEMENT company at the TIME of the case between XXXX-14 – XXXX-14 which will notify them that I am not liable for this account, I would like XXXX to provide the details of the company they contact so that I can take appropriate legal action in the County to handle this if it ‘s not resolved immediately.
