Consumer Complaint: I was faithfully paying my Wells Fargo bill since XXXX, when I unexpectedly had a major XXXX XXXX I was off work for 3 months for XXXX XXXX in XXXX. When I returned to work my hours were reduced. Wells Fargo made a agreement through phone conversation to pay certain amount and interest was lowered. The amount that was agreed was XX/XX/XXXX/mo. I was paying Faithfully that amount until out of nowhere they were calling me and saying I owed more money. I was confused because I never received notice of bill went up. Thereafter I was getting phone calls saying I owed more money. I contacted them by phone and they said the year was up with me paying that amount. I was never told a time limited on the agreed amount. I said what ‘s the point of all this time I was paying you and now your going to raise the interest and the amount I paid before is now going to go up again. What was the point of me paying all that time then. I told them they never gave me official notice of this change at all. I was upset and in tears because I asked them to work with me and they refused. Six months went by of them harassing me then I received a letter from their attorney stating to contact them to settle with them.. I did contact them and offered an amount {$2000.00} but they wanted the whole amount which I did not have and then they said I owed {$900.00} in legal fees. Which I was upset and in tears again an hung up. One month later I was served with this law suit in the amount of XXXX plus XXXX in their legal fees. Lastly, I just want to add my other debts have been and still are working with me. I feel I am being bullied and treated unfairly since I have been faithful to this company since XXXX.
