Consumer Complaint: Good afternoon, I had a XXXX credit card account which I closed for bad customer service back in XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXXI started to receive calls from their Collections department that I owe money on the card. I was on the phone with different representatives from fraud department, security investigations, and disputed the charges that appeared on my card as I was not familiar with. Since then I am told that charges are either taken care off and are disputed or other times when I call Im told that I accepted the charges. I keep telling the representatives that I did not accept the charges and I want to have them disputed. Every time I call I ask for the representative name, id no. and department. Sometimes I get the name but the ID number I do n’t. Sometimes I get disconnected. Other times I get a fake id no.
Here are some of the times I called Citi and after long hours on the phone nobody helped me.
1st call I registered with the Fraud Dept I spoke with XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I also called them on XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX and was told fraud claims is handling the problem. No id or name was given.

I also spoke on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX from Collections.
Dept XXXX Then got transferred to Fraud- XXXX XXXX – fraud Dept Id XXXX XXXX- XXXX ( who gave me a fake ID ) Told me to call onXX/XX/XXXX as will be taken care off.

I called on XX/XX/XXXX spoke with Collections then fraud.
ID no Fraud Department XXXX then XXXX XXXX ( fake name and id as onXX/XX/XXXX the representatives told me that id no does n’t exist as the people that spoke to me she sees their ID numbers to be XXXX and XXXX.

Collections called me after I told them to put me on their Do not call list, on XX/XX/XXXXSpoke with Id XXXX, XXXX who transferred me to XXXX after I requested a supervisor.

XXXX ‘s info is Id XXXX and she ‘s with Collections Department.
She told me she ca n’t help me and she is not allowed to stay on the phone with me while I talk to Security Department/Fraud then transferred me to XXXX, ID XXXX XXXX said other department will help me and transferred me to Security Investigations department.

XXXX Security investigations department Got transferred to XXXX who did n’t want to provide her Id no.and hanged up the phone prior to finishing the conversation.

I called back on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX ID XXXX who said he ca n’t provide email or any other info and told me I will be called bac

k tomorrow. My almost perfect credit score is down over 120 points and t
his is affecting my tremendously.
