Consumer Complaint: I have 2 federal loans and one private loan being serviced by AES. For over a years, I have been making more than the monthly minimum payment. I have asked AES by phone and in writing with each payment that it apply my payments first to interest and then extra amounts to paying down principal on each loan. Instead of doing this, it continues to apply my payments to future payments, such that my monthly payment amount is always zero dollars.
