Consumer Complaint: Chronically misinformed (17 years!!!) by both XXXX XXXX and Navient, that income driven and accruing forgiveness options were available.Every single year I called in to try to implement and they actively denied these were possibilities.I always was responsible and did exactly what I was instructed was the best and only options available to me.I would the retro-foregiveness time that was denied me to be applied. That’s nearly 20 years! I actively asked and had no recourse.I would like to be included in the litigation that is going on now.I was also not allowed to take my loan to another institution (ongoing – even within the past few months) they claimed. The loan has nearly 8% interest from 20 years ago, even though interests rates have gone down substantially over those years.
