Consumer Complaint: I have received multiple calls from both a local number ( XXXX area code ) as well as calls from the XXXX area ( XXXX area code ). I have answered and spoken with the representative to request a cease of contact and have been still receiving calls. I have worked tirelessly over the past several years to satisfy all outstanding debts and collection accounts and have pulled my full credit report multiple times. The debt in question is posted on my credit report as ” legally paid in full for less than original amount ” which should have ceased collection. I have notified the collection company ” XXXX XXXX ” that the debt has been settled and to please stop calling me. Phone calls have been from XXXX and XXXX over the past 2 weeks. Even after telling them that the amount has been satisfied, they say I still owe over {$7000.00} for XXXX XXXX. Only remaining collections on my account are XXXX overdue bill and XXXX XXXX overdue bill ; both have been paid and satisfied.
