Consumer Complaint: I enroll at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX for a program starting XX/XX/XXXX ending XX/XX/XXXX. During my enrolling and attending classes at XXXX XXXX, I went out on a approve medical leave of absence from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I went to school for about a week and a half before going out on leave of absence. I never establish a grade point average because I was out on leave of absence. I receive a letter from the college inquiring if I was planning to re enroll, I call my student XXXX and told him I was n’t planning to re enroll because I was still in physical therapy and I was unable continue school in the future. Counselor said he would take care of the matter. I never receive any forms to state that I was withdrawing from XXXX XXXX.I did n’t hear anything from the counselor, I receive a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX representing New Century Financial Services , INC . I am being sue for {$6600.00} and I strongly disagree on this debt because the college never followup on their own Cancellation and Refund Policy. I dispute the claim. to date, found it necessary to hire a lawyer to resolve this matter. Any assistance on your part would be helpful. Thanking you in advance.
