Consumer Complaint: This evening, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called, yet again, the Navient call center. After being assured by a phone call in XXXX and by response to my complaint to the CFPB just a couple weeks ago that the fraudulent forebearance that Navient put my account in would be reversed and my accounts would be set back to the proper repayment plan ; it became apparent today that this did not occur. For more times than I can count Navient has yet again lied about consumer ‘s repayments.

My payment is supposed to be {$100.00} set up via autopay on the XXXX of every month with the first payment at this amount being on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. However, only {$37.00} was autodrafted yesterday with 2 of my account suddenly showing that they do not enter repayment until XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. This is FRAUDULENT information again, as they were to enter repayment on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Navient is attempting to steal money from me by continuing to gain interest they do not deserve.

When I called tonight I was LIED to by the first customer service rep. I explained the issue that was occurring and all she would say is autopay is set up for XXXX XXXX … she would n’t even read the account. USELESS. Then she claimed there was no one there to help me when I requested a manager saying I would have to wait for a call back in 24 to 48 hours. After threatening to yet again report Navient to the CFPB, suddenly she found a supervisor. Obviously these agents are told to try and put consumers off with lies so Navient can keep collecting interest they have not earned and to keep consumers in the dark on their repayment plans.

The supervisor refused to help me because apparently by reporting them to the CFPB I now am not able to be serviced by the contact center, only an ” Advocate ” is allowed to speak to me. She can not give me a name or a phone number for these supposed ” Advocates ”.

So now Navient is retaliating against consumers that report them for their fraudulent operations and refusing to provide any customer service, repayment assistance etc.
