Consumer Complaint: I am a public employee. I applied for the publc loan forgiveness plan for myself and my wife ( both XXXX ). I have called them many times over the years and they assured me I, and my wife were on track. They sold our loans out to another lender and still assured me it would not affect my Public Loan Forgiveness status. I now find after filling out the paper work we do n’t qualify. On many occasions I have called them and they gave me no information. I have waited for this forgiveness for ten years only to be told due to some weird technicality I do n’t qualify.
