Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received written notification ( see attachment ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX on a closed XXXX XXXX checking account.The letter indicated {$560.00} as an amount owed which is incorrect.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received written notification ( see attachment ) from XXXX XXXX Remediation Department that the bank owed me {$85.00} and enclosed a check in that amount. That check was cashed at my current banking institution.

XXXX XXXX XXXX should have received correct information from XXXX XXXX concerning this alleged debt prior to notifying me. As a result, the information in which I received from the collection agency is incorrect and therefore violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
