Consumer Complaint: My issue is regarding synchrony bank. I had an account go into charge off status due to the XXXX of my grandparents causing me to fall behind on payments. I spoke to a nice woman about 2 months ago who told me since my account was paid in full, that it could be deleted. I received my letter from the company stating that my account is paid in full. But have not yet received my deletion letter as promised. After numerous phone calls and attempts to get my letter, they told me ” there is nothing more they can do for me and I have to figure it out ”. As soon as I found out my account went into charge off status i immediately paid the balance and i feel extremely disappointed that this company is just making me go in circles without giving me my letter that I was promised. And giving me false information that my account would be deleted if they didn’t plan on doing that.
