Consumer Complaint: last year XXXX I received a call from XXXX debt collector stating I owed money and a letter, I called the number on the letter and told the creditor that is was dismissed in the bankruptcy XXXX i had filed in XXXX. I did not hear back from them and now they have put the debt on my credit report this last week and it has been 10 years since the account went into collections and since it was dismissed in my bankruptcy.
I don’t know what else to do to get them to stop coming after me for this debt that was resolved.
