Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received the first and only notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX services stating an offer of settlement option to resolve the account balance only valid for 30 days from date of XX/XX/XXXX. Settle the balance of {$340.00} by making a one time payment of {$200.00} in 30 days. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXbalance {$340.00} serv date XX/XX/XXXX. As this was the first and only notification of debt, I called XXXX for information on what was owed and why. I was told they have no information on what was owed or why they are only the collection agency and could not help me. Being a medical Bill I called XXXX XXXX which is an umbrella health care in my area. they had no record of me what so ever of me owing any bill. I called XXXX back and informed them of this information, they informed me it did not matter I still owed the money, and it was not XXXX XXXX it was XXXX XXXX XXXX, I aked to speak to a supervisor and was diverted to voice mail. Upon calling XXXX they have no record of me owing them anything and since XXXX says what I owed was from XX/XX/XXXX XXXX informed me I did not start with them until XX/XX/XXXX and gave me some helpful advice to ask XXXX. I called XXXX for the third time and informed them of what I had learned, they said they didn’t know anything about that and I still owed them the money. I asked for 3 things, 1. written official validation notice. 2. Proof of XXXX license number. 3. What state of license number and physical address as a PO Box is a red flag. I was refused this information and diverted to a supervisor voice mail. That was my last contact with XXXX and am asking what I should do next. I am willing to pay a debt that I may owe, but I need information on what the debt pertains too, not just that I owe it period with out giving me any information as what the debt is for.
