Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX called a family member of mine looking for me. They told her I owed a debt ( {$580.00} ) from an old bank account ( XXXX ) that had been closed in XX/XX/XXXX. They told her they were trying to find me to subpoena me to show up in court and sue me for the money. They also told her if I did not contact them that I would be arrested. I called Wells Fargo first and told them this. They told me I did not owe them any money. Wells Fargo fought XXXX several years ago. I then called the number that called my family member. They told me the same things they told her. I told them I know it is a scam and I will not be paying them.
