Consumer Complaint: I purchased a dish washer from XXXX in XXXX and applied for a credit card to pay for it. The dishwasher took over a month to arrive and be installed. I received my first bill for the credit card before the dishwasher arrived. The first payment on the {$800.00} bill was due XX/XX/2018. I made a payment of {$200.00} In XXXX I came down with the XXXX. I have a XXXX XXXX so treatment was difficult. I missed the date for my second XXXX payment which was XXXX XXXX. On about XX/XX/XXXX I received my first phone call from XXXX XXXX regarding the XXXX card and they have continued ever since. I was hospitalized for four days with the XXXX and was hospitalized again this weekend XX/XX/XXXX to the XXXX. This afternoon ( XX/XX/18 ) as soon as I got home from the hospital I had 12 phone calls on my answering system and a taped phone call came at XXXX pm from Synchrony requesting payment on the credit card.
