Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my gym locker door was pried off, and my checks and credit cards were stolen. Two checks were written on my account ( which was closed shortly after the theft — check XXXX for {$94.00}, and check XXXX for {$76.00} ). I have been explaining to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that I didn’t write those checks. I have sent them copies of the police report and bank letter stating that the account was closed. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX continues to claim that I owe these funds, which I clearly don’t, since I didn’t write these checks. Please see attachment for further details.
