Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I was called from IQ Data International. They asked me coud they collect n a debt on an recorded line and ask me if I could pay my debt of {$250.00}. I agreed on an automated line that if I paid the debt they would remove the debt from my credit report. I have a letter attached in writing where they agreed to remove it. I looked at my credit report today and they reported the debt as a charge off and did not remove it from my credit report. I called IQ International on XX/XX/XXXX because they are reporting my debt as a charge off when that was not what my agreement was. The rep on the phone said yes they agreed to it but it can take months to remove. My FCRA rights were violated and I want this account removed from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX immediately!
