Consumer Complaint: I reported this fraudulent account in XX/XX/2017. I filed a police report and filed out an identity theft affidavit to properly document the activity and report the account. I contacted Wells Fargo multiple times with an affidavit explaining the situation which has been ignored. The responses I have received has stated that they will do nothing and continue reporting this information because they can. The account obviously exist because they sent me an account activity statement, but what they failed to provide is my connection or permission of this accounts existence. My request under section 605B of the FCRA has been ignored and violated by this creditor. The amount showing to be owed is {$2300.00}.
