Consumer Complaint: I contacted National credit audit requesting a pay in delete agreement. When I spoke with the individual XXXX she read my the attempt to collect verbiage on my first call I told her my concern and asked kindly if she could help. She said they could pay to delete if fully payment was received, I indicated I did not have the funds for the full amount owed and would be willing to settle to pay to delete. She said well we cant do that. I said wel I can not afford to pay the debt in full unfortunately. She said well thats the only time we will offer this to you with attitude. I said well thats a little rude. She then proceeded to say no youre rude for not paying your debts. I felt very attacked and asked for a supervisor. She stated no one was available and hung up on me.
I called back again and asked for a supervisor but was transferred to XXXX again about 5 minute later. She said no XXXX theres no supervisor and in the beginning did not read the attempt to collect verbiage. I said that is not allowed to my understanding and you shouldve read it first. I believe she violated the collection laws by not reading the verbiage but also attacked me for being kind and honest in that I could not afford to pay today.
