Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/18 the company was initially contacted at XXXX XXXX and a settlement was reached in the amount of {$100.00}. During this conversation the representative agreed to a deletion letter for payoff and provided me the email to whom I could contact to receive immediately or same day. I emailed as directed and received a voicemail from the rep saying he needed to clarify the request and the information was not correct. I have that message recorded. When I called the company back they explained this was not their policy and would only allow in extreme scenarios. I explained I received false information and believed a letter would be provided to update with credit bureaus. When I asked to listen to the calls they selectively said the onset call was not recorded or the audio was lost. However they did let me listen to the call where the rep said he could not provide that letter and there was some misunderstanding. As a consumer we have rights and being told and conveniently selective with evidence is deceiving and unprofessional. This same organization has thousands of similar scenarios with the same people- XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX . This is fraud and unacceptable.
